If you want to help improve local access to affordable fresh produce in your community, why not volunteer with us? For a few hours a week, you can gain experience and transferable skills all while meeting new people and becoming more involved in your neighbourhood.

We have opportunities for two types of volunteers at six different locations in Hackney:

Champions - Food Co-op Champions will help run our food stalls while earning valuable experience along the way. You will help coordinate other volunteers and be a regular feature at one of our food co-ops in Hackney. Champions will commit to volunteering once a week for a minimum of 3 months, and in return will receive training from ELFA in project management for this leadership role, as well as opportunities for external training and networking.

Assistants - Interested in volunteering but not quite sure if you can make a long-term commitment? Looking for something you can volunteer on and off with while involved in other things? Our Assistant roles are great for people looking to help out on a casual, ad hoc basis, and are a perfect way to understand what ELFA is all about.

ELFA volunteers contribute positively towards their own communities. Our volunteer programmes support those who wish to return to best online casinos australia work or become involved in their community, and those who would like to broaden their skills.
