Home Delivery Service now operating throughout Hackney

Last year East London Food Access (ELFA) was engaged by Team Hackney to pilot a Seniors Healthy Eating Programme supporting older people to live independently. ELFA has established a fresh produce delivery scheme for seniors, alongside the provision of healthy eating support and advice. ELFA are addressing the key issues of independent living, promotion of healthy lifestyles, and barriers to healthy food shopping for seniors, whilst supporting seasonal food, cultural diet differences and the social benefits of dining together.
